Sentinel

History
The Sentinels are sworn guardians of borders, gates, and ancient roads that connect cities and forgotten lands. Unlike knights who seek honor in battle, Sentinels exist to endure — standing watch where danger is constant and retreat is not an option.

Trained to fight alone or in small units, Sentinels rely on discipline, vigilance, and unwavering resolve. Their long swords are chosen for reach and control, allowing them to defend narrow paths, walls, and chokepoints against overwhelming odds.

Both male and female Sentinels undergo the same harsh training, learning to remain alert for days without rest. Their armor favors mobility over ornament, reflecting a life spent on duty rather than ceremony.

Legends say that when a Sentinel falls, another quietly takes their place before dawn. The watch is never broken, and the path is never left unguarded.
